The arrival of the OnePlus 13s marks a significant milestone, as it joins the OnePlus 13 series. This device piques interest due to its compact nature, top-tier hardware, and the promise of simplicity for one-handed usage without the worry of battery life. Equipped with the Snapdragon 8 series chipset, it features a rapidly charging battery and introduces a novel Plus Key that replaces the well-known Alert slider seen in earlier OnePlus models. In India, the OnePlus 13s is launched at a starting price of Rs 54,999 for the entry-level 12GB + 256GB variant, with the 512GB version priced at Rs 59,999. The smartphone is offered in three colors—pink, green, and grey—and is set to hit the Indian market starting in June.
This compact smartphone boasts a 6.32-inch LTPO AMOLED display, providing an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz and 10-bit color depth. It operates on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and a maximum of 512GB of internal storage, which is non-expandable. The device is powered by a 5,850mAh battery, charging at an 80W speed, which is lower than the 100W charging capability found in the OnePlus 13 model. Due to the compact design, OnePlus has opted for a dual rear camera setup, featuring a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization and a 50MP telephoto lens that only supports electronic image stabilization. For selfies and video calls, the front-facing camera has a resolution of 32MP. The innovative Plus Key serves as a customizable action button, allowing functions such as switching the phone between silent, ring, and vibrate modes. It can also provide quick access to the LED flashlight or activate the new OnePlus AI space feature, which organizes and saves your activities in a designated folder.

Out of the box, this device runs on OxygenOS 15, which is built on Android 15, and it promises a minimum of four OS upgrades along with six years of security updates. In terms of connectivity, it includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and supports dual SIM functionality for 5G networks, comparable to other high-end smartphones. With a thickness of 8.2mm and a weight of 185 grams, the OnePlus 13s enhances its reputation as a compact and user-friendly device.
