Land Rover has introduced the 2026 Discovery SUV in India, starting at a price of Rs 1.26 crore (ex-showroom) and reaching up to Rs 1.39 crore (ex-showroom). The luxury SUV lineup now includes the new Gemini and Tempest editions. It’s important to note that the Dynamic S and Metropolitan Edition trims will no longer be available starting in 2026. The unique aspects of the special editions compared to the regular model mainly relate to their design features. The Gemini Edition showcases a special Sedona Red paint job, a glossy black roof, and exterior trim finished in silver. The exterior is completed with 21-inch alloy wheels. Customers can also select from various exterior colors found in the standard Discovery, along with options for wheel sizes of 20-inch, 21-inch, and 22-inch for more personalization. Inside, buyers can pick either black or ivory for the upholstery.

In comparison, the Tempest Edition stands out as the top version of the Discovery, with special features like copper highlights, 22-inch wheels in a copper tone, and a copper-colored roof. The interior of the Tempest comes standard with luxurious Windsor Leather upholstery, available in black, a mix of black and brown, or a combination of black and ivory. When it comes to features, the Gemini includes a panoramic glass roof, a powered tailgate, a 12.3-inch digital instrument display, 3-zone climate control, an 11.4-inch touchscreen, a Meridian sound system, adaptive cruise control, and a 3D surround view camera. On the other hand, the Tempest offers extra tech features like Matrix LED headlights, a head-up display, power-folding third-row seats, 4-zone climate control, and heated and ventilated seats for the front and middle rows, along with a Meridian Surround Sound System. The Discovery is powered by a 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbocharged mild-hybrid diesel engine that generates 350 hp and 700 Nm of peak torque. The power is delivered to all four wheels through a 9-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
