As heartbreaking details of the tragic crash of the "Fast and Furious" star Paul Walker emerge two days after the actor died in a most unfortunate car crash during a charity event in Santa Clarita, California, on Saturday, his family, friends and fans slip deeper into agony as they bemoan the loss of their favorite star.

Even as the horrific details and images of the horrendous crash hit the web, it's heart-rending to know that when the 40-year-old Walker's Porsche GT that he borrowed from his friend, spun out of control 30 minutes after he ignited the engine, and crashed into a tree, it was his 8-year-old son Roger Rodas who heroically rushed to the rescue of his dead father, trying to pull out him out of the inferno.

The crash happened so close to the venue of the event that Rodas' son was immediately on the scene to rescue his father. But alas!

Prior to that fateful drive, Rodas had taken to the wheel of the sports car, after one of the former race car driver's employees couldn't back the car up into the garage. The vehicle apparently kept halting.

As Rodas took control, Walker hopped in as he hadn't yet had a chance to take a spin in the impressive sports car. The crash occurred just yards away from the auto shop as the friends returned.

The county coroner confirmed that the bodies of Walker and and his friend/financial adviser have been charred beyond recognition.
