Two Suspects Sought after Shooting

Two suspects sought after shooting 7 people at a Christmas party in North Carolina

Two suspects sought by police after shooting seven people during a private Christmas party. Which was attended by hundreds of people at a Moose Lodge in Madison which is about 25 miles north of Greensboro.

None of the victims appeared to suffer life threatening injuries.

Two suspects were being tracked down on Sunday and no other details were being made public, Rockingham County Sheriff’s spokesman Sgt. Kevin Suthard said.

CBS affiliate WNCN reported, that the suspects covered their faces with ski masks and opened fire before speeding away in a silver car which was driven by a woman suspect. The car’s model is still unknown.

Deputies said a fight broke out between suspects and a few others during the party which was attended by around 250 to 300 people.

Witnesses told to investigators that both gunmen attended the party and were covering their faces with masks and then open fired and escaped the scene in a silver car.

Daisy Joins was shot in the ankle at the party. She said “most people attending were between ages 18 and 30”.

“I’m very lucky; it could’ve been a lot worse,” Joins said told WGHP

One of the gunmen is described as a black male with dreadlocks wearing black pants and a brown jacket and the second person was described weaning black pants and light green jacket.

Responding deputies found just two of the gunshot victims at the scene. One made it to a hospital 30 miles away in Reidsville. The rest were found at three other locations.
