McAfee founder John McAfee found dead in a Spanish prison

John McAfee, the creator of McAfee Antivirus software has been found dead in a Spanish prison after his extradition process to the USA has been announced. The incident took place hours after the Spanish court approved his extradition to the United States. John McAfee has been facing tax evasion charges and he is punishable for up to 30 years as per US laws. John McAfee promoted cryptocurrency and he had a history of legal troubles. The jail's medical team certified his death and a statement was issued soon. A judicial delegation team arrived to investigate the cause of the death. John McAfee was 75 years old and is a citizen of the USA.

John McAfee was arrested in October last year in Barcelona International Airport. He was charged in Tennessee for evading taxes after he failed to report the income from promoting cryptocurrencies. John McAfee also sold the rights of his life story for a documentary to be made. John McAfee was born in England's Gloucestershire in the year 1945 and he created McAfee in 1987. John McAfee landed into trouble in 2019 after McAfee along with five others is suspected to be traveling on a yacht with high-caliber weapons. John McAfee's death was confirmed by his lawyers.

John McAfee was facing charges for not filing income tax from 2014 to 2018 after he earned millions of dollars through cryptocurrencies and other businesses. Rest in peace John McAfee.
