Earlier this month, Samsung has begun its marketing efforts for the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold smartphone. Although the South Korean technology company has not yet confirmed the official release date, recent leaks indicate that the Galaxy Unpacked event for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 could happen in July. It is also anticipated that during this launch, Samsung will reveal the Galaxy Watch 8 series and new Galaxy Buds. Notable tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) shared on X that Samsung plans to conduct the subsequent Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM EDT (7:30 PM IST). Initially, there were indications that the event would be held in New York, but this latest information suggests that Samsung is likely to maintain its schedule for a launch in early July, similar to last year when the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 were introduced on July 10.

The company has commenced teasing its new foldable devices. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to feature upgraded AI capabilities and enhanced security options. This upcoming series is reported to be the thinnest, lightest, and most sophisticated foldable device to date. The clamshell variant may utilize the Exynos 2500 chipset, while the book-style foldable is anticipated to operate with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Additionally, Samsung is likely to unveil a budget-friendly Fan Edition (FE) version of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 alongside the regular Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. The Galaxy Watch 8 series, which may include the Galaxy Watch 8, Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) models, is also expected to be presented during the Galaxy Unpacked event. Moreover, rumors suggest that Samsung could introduce its audio accessories, such as the Galaxy Buds Core and Galaxy Buds 3 FE, at this launch. There are also speculations that the company might showcase its first XR headset, Project Moohan, and a tri-fold smartphone during the event.
