Vivo S50 and Vivo S50 Pro Mini are set to be released in China next week, and we already have details about their design and main features thanks to promotional materials shared by the company. Recently, both models have been found listed on a Chinese telecom provider's site. The information indicates that the Vivo S50 will have a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and a 6.59-inch screen. The Vivo S50 Pro Mini is confirmed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC. The company is likely to introduce the Vivo S50 Pro Mini under the name Vivo X300 FE in different regions. These upcoming models have appeared on the China Telecom website with model numbers V2528A for the S50 and V2527A for the Pro Mini. Both models are available in configurations of 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, and 16GB+512GB for RAM and storage.

The basic Vivo S50 is offered in colors like Space Black, Confession, Inspiration Purple, and Serene Blue (translated from Chinese). On the other hand, the Vivo S50 Pro Mini is available in Space Black, Confession, and Inspiration Purple (translated from Chinese) colors.

According to the listing, the Vivo S50 features a 6.59-inch display, while the Vivo S50 Pro Mini comes with a smaller 6.31-inch display. Both phones have a triple rear camera setup, which includes two 50-megapixel cameras and an additional 8-megapixel camera. They are also equipped with a 50-megapixel front camera. Under the hood, the Vivo S50 has a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor (model SM8635), while the Vivo S50 Pro Mini is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset (SM8845), which the brand has already confirmed. Both devices will run on Android 16 and support dual SIM functionality. The Vivo S50 series is expected to be launched in China on December 15, at 7:00 pm local time (4:30 pm IST). Currently, the company is accepting pre-orders for these smartphones. The Vivo S50 Pro Mini is confirmed to feature LPDDR5x RAM (with speeds up to 9600Mbps), UFS 4.1 storage, and a 6,500mAh battery that supports 90W fast wired charging and 40W wireless charging. The standard Vivo S50 will come with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera.

There are rumors that Vivo will introduce the Vivo X300 FE worldwide as a rebranded version of the S50 Pro Mini. The Vivo V70 might also launch in international markets with specifications similar to the standard S50, possibly featuring the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset.
