Analysis

Kushi Movie Review, Rating, Story, Cast and Crew

Kushi was made with high production values. The visuals and cinematography are extraordinary. As the melodies, Naa Roje Nuvve, Aradhya and Kushi title song are already viral, the stunning visuals have impressed more. Kushi is similar to Sakhi, where the couple elopes, get married and end up with misunderstandings, jealousy, insecurity and fights. Shiva Nirvana has some additional elements like god and beliefs in Kushi.

The first half came out very well in the breezy scenic locales of Kashmir. Vennela Kishore's comedy was okay in the first half. The second half is completely a family and emotional drama runs at a slow pace with some missing logics. Arjun Reddy's episode came out well. The second half might have been trimmed to make the runtime more crispy.

Performance

This is definitely a comeback film for Vijay Deverakonda after Geetha Govindham. He comfortably carried the Viplav role and did extremely well. Samantha as Aradhya was apt and she needs to be lauded for her performance. Kushi worked out big time for Vijay, Shiv Nirvana and Samantha. Besides a few flaws in the film, Kushi came out completely well.  Murli Sharma and Sachin Khedkar were also good in their roles. The remaining actors like Rohini, Jayaram, Lakshmi, Sharanya Pradeep and Shatru have done their part. Vennela Kishore and Rama Krishna’s comedy slot was ok.

Positives:

Cinematography

Songs

Negative:

Lengthy second half

Slow Narration

Final Word

Kushi is a breezy romantic entertainer that will make a decent watch for this weekend.
