JSW MG Motor India has just introduced the new MG Windsor EV Inspire Edition in India. This special edition electric vehicle starts at a price of Rs 16.65 lakh (ex-showroom) and is placed between the basic Windsor EV and the more powerful Windsor EV Pro. The basic model begins at Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top model Pro is tagged at Rs 18.10 lakh (ex-showroom). With the launch of the Inspire Edition, MG Motor now provides a mid-level choice for customers who are ready to pay a bit extra for a special electric vehicle instead of the entry-level one. Now, let's look at the main differences between the new Inspire Edition and the basic Windsor EV model. All three variants of the MG Windsor EV have a similar body style and design. The electric car has a higher position and a solid front design, giving it a unique electric crossover look. However, the Inspire Edition boasts a more attractive appearance than the other two versions.

This special edition electric vehicle offers dual-tone color choices. It includes rose-gold exterior highlights and subtle Inspire branding, which adds a bit of flair without changing the overall appearance. The basic Windsor EV is equipped with features like a panoramic sunroof, a large touchscreen display, and technology that connects it to the internet. On the other hand, the Inspire Edition emphasizes lifestyle improvements rather than functional gadgets compared to the base model. It includes luxurious features such as Sangria Red interiors, a Skylight Infinity Roof Glassroof, a 4K dashcam, all black alloy wheels, unique seat designs for this edition, 3D floor mats, and accessories that enhance everyday use and personalization of the cabin. The standard Windsor EV and the Inspire Edition both use the same 38 kWh battery, which is said to provide a range of around 331 km. Both models generate the same power and torque. The 38 kWh battery allows both versions to offer a power output of 134 bhp and 200 Nm of torque.
