ATI to add 275 jobs in North Carolina

A company that manufactures robotics parts is expanding its operation in North Carolina, by adding 275 jobs over the span of next four years.

The News & Observer of Raleigh reported that ATI Industrial Automation said Thursday it will expand its factory and headquarters in Apex.

Robert Little, who is the CEO of the company said that the company plans to spend about 6 million USD on the expansion that will include factory and warehouse space. The company is also planning a new engineering and robotics lab. The expansion would nearly double the workforce in the state.

The company will be hiring factory floor personnel, engineers, salespeople and administrative staff.

Pay-scale will range from $30,000 for hourly employees to $85,000 for engineers.
